BISP 8171 Payment Schedule 2026 HBL & Alfalah Withdrawal Start Date Announced

BISP 8171 Payment and Withdrawal Guide

BISP continues to provide quarterly cash support to low-income families across Pakistan, but the way beneficiaries collect their payment has changed this year. The quarterly amount now stands at Rs. 14,500, and payments are increasingly being routed through JazzCash or Easypaisa digital wallets tied to a free Benazir SIM, rather than the old queue-based collection system. Beneficiaries can still withdraw from any authorized HBL, Bank Alfalah, UBL, MCB, or JazzCash agent, using their original CNIC and biometric verification.

To avoid delays, beneficiaries should keep their CNIC active, their registered mobile number correct, and check their status regularly through 8171.bisp.gov.pk, SMS to 8171, or the helpline 0800-26477. Fraudulent messages promising a “double payment” for a fee are currently circulating, so anyone unsure about a message should verify directly with BISP before responding.

Current Payment Amount: Rs. 14,500

The quarterly Benazir Kafaalat payment now stands at Rs. 14,500, up from Rs. 13,500. BISP Chairperson Senator Rubina Khalid confirmed this increase in February 2026, and it has applied from the Ramzan 2026 cycle onward. This is the amount covering the current April–June 2026 quarter, which closes on June 30, 2026 — so beneficiaries who haven’t collected it yet should act before that date rather than wait.

Payments Are Now Moving to Digital Wallets

Since the Ramzan 2026 cycle, BISP has been rolling out a Social Protection Wallet system, shifting payments away from queue-based collection toward direct mobile wallet deposits:

  • Beneficiaries who received a free Benazir SIM on Jazz get their payment deposited directly into a JazzCash wallet
  • Beneficiaries on a Telenor SIM are linked to an Easypaisa wallet
  • No smartphone is required to withdraw — visiting any authorized JazzCash or Easypaisa agent with your original CNIC and registered SIM is enough; the agent handles biometric verification on their device

The deadline to register for the free BISP SIM was June 15, 2026. If you missed it, visit your nearest BISP Tehsil Office as soon as possible with your original CNIC and a personal mobile phone — collection is still possible before the June 30 cutoff, but staff need to complete SIM and wallet registration on the spot.

This rollout is not complete nationwide, so many districts are still using traditional withdrawal methods for now. Check your specific status on the portal rather than assuming which method applies to you.

Where You Can Withdraw

BISP has introduced multi-bank access, meaning you’re no longer restricted to one assigned bank. You can collect your payment from any authorized agent of these partners:

  • HBL Konnect agents and biometric ATMs
  • Bank Alfalah biometric ATMs and payment desks
  • UBL and MCB partner locations
  • JazzCash and Easypaisa agents (for wallet-based payments)

Withdrawal Steps at a Bank Agent or ATM

  1. Bring your original, valid CNIC
  2. Select BISP Cash Withdrawal at the machine or counter
  3. Complete biometric (thumb) verification
  4. Collect your full amount and keep the printed or digital receipt

No fee is ever charged for this process. If anyone asks you for money, report it immediately.

Who Is Eligible

  • Registered under the NSER (National Socio-Economic Registry), with a completed Dynamic Survey
  • A poverty score (PMT) below 32
  • Primarily female heads of household
  • A valid, active CNIC matched to a registered mobile number

Families with large assets, significant vehicle ownership, or a government employee in the household are generally not eligible.
