PSER Punjab Registration 2026: Online Survey and Eligibility Guide

PSER Punjab Registration 2026

Punjab residents can complete the Punjab Socio-Economic Registry survey through the official portal at pser.punjab.gov.pk. The survey records a family’s income, employment, education, housing conditions and assets so that the Punjab Government can identify households for suitable welfare programmes.

PSER is a household database, not a cash scheme. Completing the survey does not mean that money, ration or another benefit will be approved automatically. Each government programme checks the PSER record against its own eligibility rules.

What Is the Punjab Socio-Economic Registry?

The Punjab Socio-Economic Registry, commonly called PSER, is a provincial database of households living in Punjab. It gives government departments a clearer picture of each family’s financial and social position.

Instead of asking citizens to submit the same information for every new scheme, departments can use verified PSER data during beneficiary selection. The Punjab Planning and Development Board has identified pser.punjab.gov.pk as the official online registration address. Punjab Planning and Development Board

The survey may collect information about:

  • Family members and their CNIC or B-Form details
  • Monthly income and sources of employment
  • Education, health and disability
  • House ownership and living conditions
  • Electricity, gas and other utility information
  • Land, livestock, vehicles and household assets

Who Can Complete PSER Registration?

Households residing in Punjab can provide their information for the registry. There is no reliable evidence that every person must have an income below Rs.50,000 or a PMT score below 34 simply to complete the survey.

Income, assets and family circumstances are recorded to calculate a household profile. A particular scheme may later introduce an income limit, PMT requirement, age condition or other eligibility rule.

For example, Punjab’s Rahmat Card programme uses PSER data and a Proxy Means Test when selecting beneficiaries. That does not make the same PMT requirement a universal condition for PSER registration. Punjab Zakat and Ushr Department

Information to Prepare Before Registration

The person completing the survey should have a valid CNIC and an active mobile number. The CNIC details of adult family members and B-Form numbers of children may also be needed.

Keep the following information ready before opening the form:

  • Current and permanent residential address
  • Names, ages and identification details of family members
  • Monthly household income
  • Employment or business information
  • Children’s school and education details
  • Health conditions or disabilities in the family
  • Agricultural land, livestock, vehicles and other assets
  • Utility bill and housing information, where requested

Enter the information honestly. Incorrect income, missing family members or false asset details can affect the household assessment and may cause problems when applying for a government programme.

How to Register on the PSER Portal

Visit the official PSER portal and select the registration option. Avoid websites using similar names but ending in .com, .online or another unofficial extension.

Create an account with the requested CNIC, mobile and login details. After signing in, start the household survey and enter information for every section.

The usual process is:

  1. Open pser.punjab.gov.pk.
  2. Create an account or sign in to an existing account.
  3. Enter the head of household and family details.
  4. Complete the income, employment, education and health sections.
  5. Add housing, utility, land, livestock and asset information.
  6. Review the complete survey carefully.
  7. Submit it and save any reference or confirmation shown.

A submitted survey may still require verification. Government departments can compare the details with NADRA and other official records before using them for a welfare decision.

Can You Register Without Internet?

Punjab previously allowed citizens to seek registration assistance through local Union Council and municipal offices. However, centre locations and operating arrangements may change, so applicants should confirm availability with their local administration before travelling. Punjab DGPR

Take your original CNIC and the identification details of household members. Registration assistance should be free. Do not pay an agent or hand over original documents to an unauthorised person.

Does PSER Registration Guarantee Government Benefits?

No. PSER registration only makes the household record available for assessment. Selection depends on the rules, budget and verification process of the relevant programme.

PSER data has been used for targeted initiatives such as Ramzan relief and other provincial support programmes. However, citizens should not assume that one registration guarantees ration, cash, a solar system, a loan or a card.

SMS codes such as 8070 may be introduced for a particular campaign. They should not be treated as permanent PSER registration numbers. Always check the latest announcement on a Punjab Government website before sending a CNIC by SMS.
