BISP 8171 January 2026 Qist Update

As we enter 2026, the Government of Pakistan has prioritized the financial independence of women. The BISP 8171 January 2026 installment comes with a revolutionary update: the introduction of the Digital Wallet System. Previously, women had to stand in long queues at campsites or rely on Point of Sale (POS) agents who often deducted illegal fees from their stipends.

Once you complete your biometric verification at the Tehsil Office, this SIM is given to you for free. Your installment is transferred directly into the wallet linked to this SIM. You can withdraw cash whenever you want, or even use it for digital transactions. This ensures that you receive the full amount without a single rupee being deducted.

For the January 2026 cycle, the government has ensured that the financial support matches the needs of the beneficiaries. The standard installment amount is Rs. 13,500.

“Puri raqam bina kisi katauti ke milegi”

With the new Digital Wallet system, the biggest advantage is that you get the full Rs. 13,500. In the old system, agents often handed over Rs. 13,000 and kept the rest as a “fee.” Now, the money lands in your digital account. If you have children enrolled in the Benazir Taleemi Wazaif program, their scholarship amount will also be added to this wallet, meaning your total withdrawal could be higher than the base amount.

Payment Methods: ATM, Campsites & Digital Wallets

For January 2026, BISP is operating a hybrid model as the new system rolls out.

“Ab paise nikalwana hua asaan aur mehfooz”

  1. Digital Wallet (New Method): This is the priority method. Visit your nearest BISP Tehsil Office. The staff will verify your thumbprint and issue a free SIM. Put this SIM in your phone, activate it, and your money will be visible in the wallet balance.
  2. Campsites (Traditional Method): For districts where the SIM system has not yet reached, specialized campsites are set up. Here, bank representatives dispense cash after verifying the customer’s biometric information.
  3. Partner Bank ATMs: In some zones, beneficiaries can still use biometric-enabled ATMs of HBL (Punjab/Sindh/Balochistan) or Bank Alfalah (KPK/GB/AJK) to withdraw funds.

To ensure your safety and the security of your money, please follow these instructions strictly:
